Volunteer Communications & Marketing Team lead
We are looking for a talented Team Lead to inspire, upskill and guide our work experience marketing volunteers.
​
You’ll have a great understanding of marketing strategies and be able to work across the different platforms, showing our team how to create inspiring content to increase engagement and the uptake of our services.
Our ‘dressed’ recycled clothing boutiques are also a vital part of what we do and provide exciting opportunities to promote our sustainable fashion and increase our fundraising.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketing or comms person who wants to help people be the best they can be.​ You'll be part of our friendly team based at our Wellington Hub at 90 The Terrace, Wellington CBD and will also lead our smaller Hutt based team.​

Tasks
You'll be leading our volunteer marketing team as they develop their skills in a real work environment.
​
This includes:

Developing marketing strategies with the team.

Providing training and guidance.
-
Approving posts and ensuring creative materials are of a good standard.

Oversight of our marketing campaigns, social media and promotional material.

Attributes
We're looking for someone who has:
-
experience in a marketing or communications role, including social media.
-
experience in team leadership and/or training.
-
excellent communication skills and a high standard of written English.
-
skills in Canva, Office 365, basic photo editing and basic website editing.
Time commitment
As our Team Lead you will be volunteering on a regular basis to ensure our work experience volunteers have the guidance they need as they work through their tasks. A minimum of two mornings each week is essential, if you'd like to do more then we'd all be delighted!
