How your donation helps

Yes for Success works to bridge the gap for vulnerable people, especially women, by addressing unconscious bias and creating fairness and equality for jobseekers; instilling confidence, building resilience, and restoring dignity to not only ‘get the job’ but to ‘thrive in the job’.

Our partnership

Corporate citizenship has always been fundamental to the way Accenture operates. Guided by the responsibility to their people, clients, communities and the environment, the company leverages its impact to help create more-inclusive societies that offer more opportunities to more people.

Accenture NZ has a long-standing partnership with Dress for Success in Wellington. We are very excited for their rebranding as Yes for Success where they will be providing amazing opportunities to everyone in the community to build the skills and confidence they need to find employment and thrive in their careers. The collaboration offers our employees opportunities for volunteering and involvement in community service while supporting initiatives promoting diversity and inclusion. Together we aim to create a positive impact on our community.

"I didn’t think it was possible any more to get a job I wanted with the big gap in my CV. I nearly didn’t contact DFS because I was so depressed, but something just made me do it and I haven’t looked back. I encourage anyone in a similar position to contact DFS, they really can help you.''

Sean

''Success means giving things a go and maintaining a positive attitude, even if I don't achieve my goals straight away.''
