Celebrating the Opening of Our New Home

Earlier this month, we were delighted to officially open the doors to the new home of Dress for Success Wellington at Ground Floor, 15 Willeston Street, Wellington Central.

The launch event marked an exciting milestone for our organisation and brought together an incredible group of partners, supporters, volunteers, donors, and community champions who share our commitment to helping people build confidence, unlock opportunities, and achieve their goals in work and life.

We were honoured to welcome Wellington Mayor Andrew Little, alongside representatives from many of the organisations, businesses, and community groups that have supported Dress for Success Wellington throughout our journey. Their presence was a wonderful reflection of the strong network of people who believe in the importance of empowering individuals to succeed and reach their full potential.

A special highlight of the evening was the karakia and blessing of our new home, which marked this important milestone and acknowledged the purpose, connections, and community that sit at the heart of our work. It was a meaningful way to begin this new chapter and recognise the significance of the space that will support so many people in the years to come. The evening was an opportunity to celebrate not only our new location, but also the collective impact made possible through the generosity and dedication of our supporters. We reflected on the many lives that have been touched through our services, programmes, and partnerships, and shared our vision for the future as we continue to evolve to meet the needs of our community.

Our new home provides a welcoming and accessible space where people can receive support, build confidence, develop skills, and take positive steps towards their employment and personal goals. We are excited about the opportunities this new environment will create and the many connections, conversations, and success stories that will begin within its walls.
